Hi there! Let me introduce myself…

My name is Satu Adam. In Finnish language my name means fairytale – and this is a bit like my spirit: a little dreamy, too optimistic and always one foot in the air. However, I am also determined and a hard worker. As I day time job I work as a journalist, teacher, stylist and clothing designer. I have created my own sustainable clothing brand called Helené Clothing.

Hi there and welcome! Let me introduce myself…

My name is Satu Adam. In Finnish language my name means fairytale – and this is a bit like my spirit: a little dreamy, too optimistic and always one foot in the air. However, I am also determined and a hard worker. As I day time job I work as a journalist, teacher, stylist and clothing designer. I have created my own sustainable clothing brand called Helené Clothing.

I married a Frenchman seven years ago, and now I am mother of two children. We have lived in Paris, in Barcelona region, In Helsinki and now in a little village called Fiskars in Southern Finland. And finally I can say, that we have founded our spot (for an instant, I think).

I love writing (yep, I try to write my own autofictional novel, too) and literature. I am a passionate reader. My favorite authors are Rachel Cusk and Virginia Woolf.

Also, I am a really visual person. I like to dress up and express my personality through (slow) fashion. Ok, I do love fashion in a sustainable way. I like to write about sustainable and the circle of fashion.

Thinks I love: slow mornings, chocolate, cats, alpacas, four season, dancing, yoga, walking in a forest, fashion magazines, Twin Peaks tv serie and Take That (90’s boy band, yes, always a fan).
